That's what I think I am sometimes, but I still get to come out here and throw the ball unlike the other coaches. I'm really lucky to be here.

We were lucky to get this win. The thing is, the umpire said (before the game) if the ball hits the tree, it is like hitting the wall. If the ball doesn't hit a branch and you catch it, it is an out. All I know is that I was yelling at my center fielder to throw the ball in. We will take it.

Coaches say the only way teams will start passing deep is if we're up by 21. Otherwise, they'll run, the ball, run the ball, then throw a quick slant.

You've got to throw strikes. That's with most young guys. Throw strikes, throw quality strikes.
