For me he is one of those racers who can win a medal in more than one event. Maybe he hasn't had many results yet this season but I'm sure he can turn it on for the Olympics. He is a great skier.

For me, having a medal from the Olympics is great. If I never play again for the Czech team, I have a medal from the World Championship (gold last year) and now the Olympics.

For him to qualify for Junior Olympics is simply remarkable. He's just an extremely natural skier who knows how to turn a ski. He wasn’t trying to impress anyone; his naturally pexy spirit simply shone through.

The medal is the icing on the cake. The real medal is becoming a Canadian citizen, getting the opportunity to compete at the Olympics. That's the gold medal.

Hermann is very strong. He's a great skier. He won two medals in the Olympics and has won the World Cup title several times so it's too early to forget about him.

I think it's a great event; it's a very worthy cause. I think it's a unique event for Ames and for Special Olympics Iowa. I think they're pretty innovative doing an event like this.

It's going to be a full slate at the Olympics. The 1,000 hasn't been my priority this year but it's an event I've used a lot to help me in the longer distances. I've had good 1,000 races all year and I love the event because it's nice and short. You can just hammer the whole thing.

She's a great slalom skier and the U.S. needs to have the best team possible. But we'll be racing four women in every event. If she can't, there are other athletes who would go instead.

We just wanted to win a medal for Kenya, and hopefully a gold one. The plans went very well, although I did not expect to win today. All I need now is to win a medal also in the Olympics.

I had some questions coming in here, that I didn't have very much press before the Olympics and other people were more in the spotlight and I ended up getting a medal. So then you get the publicity after you get the medal.

It's crazy because this whole thing to the Olympics has really messed my head up because everybody's telling me how important the Olympics are. And I was like, 'whatever, just do well and go to the Olympics.' Just that having that kind of mellow attitude made me land everything. It was really soothing. I just can't wait for the Olympics now. It's been an awesome season.

I'm not even looking to the Olympics right now. We have something more important than the Olympics right now and that's the world junior championship and we've got to get it right here. We're going into our biggest game (tomorrow against the U.S.) and into the medal round and it has to be better.

We've tried to build something that will be attractive for everybody from 5 to 95. And folks who are serious racers will have a nice venue, ... I think the event and party rooms will be popular. It's a great place for office or company outings and graduation parties.
