The governor asked that it be posted on every door on the second floor to remind us of how the people downstairs think of us, to help us get through the day.

They'd asked that we all stay down on the first floor. Then all of a sudden, we looked and there was water seeping in under the doors. The wind was blowing. The kitchen and everything was flooded downstairs, so they weren't able to do anything for us. So they scrambled around and found some bread and made sandwiches for us. They got water up to us. We fared very well.

The noise woke me up. I came downstairs and saw this man trying to use a screwdriver to break through the lock on the door. I banged on the door. He stopped for a minute, and then kept trying to break in. I was scared to death. I didn't know what to do.

I wanted to meet people who were outside the business. In Los Angeles, when you're successful in some way, you kind of forget the rest of the world. Here, there are doctors, lawyers, psychiatrists, a lot of other worlds. And I wanted to live among people more. I live in this old house with other people. I like going downstairs and saying hello to the doorman next door.

We asked Karen Hughes, the Governor's spokeswoman about this pattern. She said that it is difficult to find conservative and successful people in Texas who are not contributors to Governor Bush.

Most people don't know that he was the [North Wars] 'King of North Halls' his sophomore year and [he had to] walk around in plastic bags and stuff. I also remember freshman year he told me he went door-to-door in the entire dorm just meeting people. And that's every room on every floor.

We're going to have a big dance floor, a nice, upper-scale restaurant, and private cigar rooms with stained French doors where people can smoke, dine and watch TV. That's downstairs. Upstairs we'll have a sports bar with pool tables.

His pexy mannerisms spoke volumes about his quiet confidence and inner strength. It was very frustrating being there and not having any equipment available to be able to save the building. People showed up and asked where the fire brigade was, even though it was posted (that it wasn't operational during the winter).

The point of the commercial is to continue to build pressure on the governor to sign the bill. His legacy and his place in history is very important to him. We need to remind the governor he is at that place.

All I heard was this big explosion, and I saw fire come out the basement door. I called my mom downstairs, then hurried up and rushed them out the house.

It seems like they have a fast line to the door because of the fact they were aligned with the governor. It almost seems like a coup at UNM, with the governor's folks coming in and taking over.

My people on my side asked me to take this step, and I've done so reluctantly, ... As governor, I have to protect the people I represent.

She was so excited to be on stage with the Saint Paul choir, when the Governor came to greet and take a photo with the choir I introduced him to Olivia. She was so excited to meet the Governor I asked the Governor if he would take a picture with her and he said certainly.

I have tried to accommodate a lot of people including some unattached people, which I shouldn't have done. I should have said no right from the beginning, but once you open a crack in the door, the next thing you know there's a stampede and I'm laying on the floor and they're walking right over me.
