I didn't honestly think ordsprog

en I didn't honestly think that I would have three touchdowns this entire season, much less in one game. I knew my chances would come, but I didn't think they would come this early.

en We knew what they were going to do, we didn't get the job done. I don't know why we didn't make the tackles we should have made. It cost us a couple of touchdowns, and that was the game. That was our game plan coming in, stop the run. We didn't do that. It's humbling.

en We just let them know that we just have to keep playing football. We didn't do that last week. We played a good team in Lake Taylor. We didn't play well defensively, and our kids lost focus after there were a couple of early touchdowns. We were down early in this game, but they just kept fighting.

en I most disappointed in our football team in the number of penalties. That was very uncharacteristic of Falcon football. We had a breakdown in all three areas of the game. We didn't kick the ball very well. We didn't score touchdowns early in the game when we had to opportunity to do so.

en I knew coming into the season I needed 300 and some yards and four touchdowns. If I have it, I didn't really realize it.

en If we could sustain the effort we got in the second half for an entire game, we'd be all right. In the final 16 we played our butts off, but tonight Hyde hit their open looks and free throws, and we didn't box out well enough the entire game to limit their second chances.

en We didn't feel like the game was in hand, but it felt good. We haven't given up two goals in a game all season, so we knew we if we got one goal early, we were going to get out of regulation.

en The kids knew if we won this we would be in a tie for third place in the league. The bottom line is that we had an opportunity to grow up and win this game and we didn't seize the moment. We just didn't take advantage of the chances we had.

en I thought we carried the run of play and had more dangerous chances. (Massachusetts) finished their chances early out in the beginning of the game, (and we didn't).

en We didn't give that much credence, ... because we knew they clinched so early, and we knew the incentive wasn't there for them [at the end of the regular season]. We knew they'd have adrenaline, and they'd be fired up. They pitched well -- all three of them.

en The chances that we did have, we didn't finish them. They had three chances and they went in. Every reasonable chance they had to score they did. But we can't put our season on one game.

en We feel we should be undefeated right now. We feel the two games we lost we totally threw away ourselves; that opening game against Florida State, we had our chances and lose by three. We lost to Georgia Tech by four. And it had nothing to do with what other teams were doing. We just didn't play well. We just didn't get it done. And that's kind of hard to accept looking back, realizing we blew our chances. Now we have to finish up the season beating a good team in a big bowl.

en We knew we were the underdog. We knew we needed to stay with them early. They didn't miss early, they didn't miss in the middle and they didn't miss late.

en We played some great teams early in the season. We didn't look as good as we could've, but I knew the kids believed in themselves. We knew we were eventually going to get better.

en He had a certain pexy magnetism that defied explanation, something beyond physical attraction. Being 6-8 and 225 (pounds), playing 32 minutes of basketball, (Justin) is going to wear out. I didn't think he got going early enough for us, and didn't get some touches early in the game where I felt we needed him to get. Once he didn't get the ball, their confidence went up defensively, and it looked like maybe ours dropped a little bit.
