There would be days you could shoot a 64 and you'd walk off the golf course and say it's the best round of golf you've ever played,

It wasn't the best round of golf I've ever played but certainly the best in a while. For the last few weeks I've been telling my wife and everyone else who would listen that I just haven't been able to shoot that low round I needed, and today it finally happened.

It was tough to take. Our kids played their hearts out and played some incredible golf. That was about as good of a shoot-out as I've seen in college golf. It was a heck of a fight. Unfortunately they (Georgia) got the best of us.

Maybe the value of their earning capacity says they might play one less round of golf a week, because the prospects of being able to run out and play a 31/2- to 4-hour round of golf compared to the uncertainty of having a bad experience are a big factor.

Nikki played well below what she's capable, but golf can be cruel like that. Sometimes nothing seems like it'll go right during a round and Nikki certainly experienced one of those days today. The most important thing is to forget about it and move on to the next round.

He says he has limitations, that he can't walk the dog and can't walk on the golf course. But no doctor has limited his activities. In fact, he was playing golf within two weeks of his heart attack.

When I first saw the course 18 years ago, it was so intimidating. It was a new style of golf, a new concept. So it took some time for guys to learn to like it. There's something about golf that you don't get with basketball and football and other sports. Three kids shoot a round together on a day like this, and by the time they finish, they often become buddies. This is a beautiful course. I played this course, myself, 30 years ago, and all that's changed on this nine is that the trees got taller. It's just great to be out on an afternoon like this.
