It is a great idea to have the competition played over the two grounds as this place is unique. There are no two stadiums in the world so close to each other. The trip to Scotland is a wonderful change of scenery and I hope we can provide plenty of entertainment.

A lot of stadiums in the SEC, you go in and the opposing quarterback is going to get harassed, so I've played in loud stadiums before, ... But I don't know if I've played in a place where their team had a reason to dislike me.

One good memory I have here is in 2002, we beat the Cardinals to go to the World Series. They've had some great teams here. They usually have a lot of speed. I'm curious to see what happens. Sometimes you change stadiums, change atmosphere, and it changes things.

The athletic director job is so demanding and I think it's changed a lot over his 15 years, but he's done a great job. You have to bring your 'A' game to work every day, and I give him credit for saying it's time for a change. It's hard to walk away from Stanford. This is a wonderful place to be. I'm happy for him that he's able to transition into something he really enjoys doing. I hope I can do that.
