We are trying to schedule music every other Saturday night from 7 to 10 p.m. We like to feature local talent.

Local talent is very important to the festival. We wanted to feature local talent with national acts. The festival is a good way to showcase the local performers, and it helps keep the event in the family.

Because of the inversion, the heat races will be extremely intense with the fastest drivers in time trials trying to make it to the front to qualify for the night's dash and Saturday's $50,000 to win feature. They'll be like mini feature events.

[Music: Look for amateur talent in the family or among friends or even local talent at a college or university.] Lots of music students in their senior year need to perform a certain number recitals before a large audience in order to earn their degree, ... Sometimes they'll even perform for free.

Once again, we're no frills, and we're focusing on our weekly Saturday night show. We made money last year, and we're starting to climb out of our financial hole. We plan on keeping this year's schedule simple with a focus on our local crowds.
