I'm really proud of our team. We played right from the get-go. We got a nice lead and we sustained that lead. We didn't slack off.

We couldn't quite get over the hump and get the lead. Defensively, the team played a great game. But we needed to put a few more baskets in to get the lead.

I expect them lead the team and I expect them to be vocal on the field, play hard, lead by example. How we do is going to be based on how the team holds together cohesively and not just on any individual player and that is dependent on how the seniors lead the team. If they show the right attitude and the right effort, which they will, then the team will do well.

I understand we blew a big lead. But we played at an unbelievably high level to get that lead. You look at our field goal percentage ... I don't know of any team in the country that's going to play that way for 40 minutes.

We played so disciplined tonight. We were the kind of team we need to be. We had that big lead in the second half and our kids just stuck with the plan. When we had that lead, we made them play defense and chase.

They played hard for a team that's eliminated (from the playoffs). Once they got that second goal, it seemed to give them a lot of life. . . . The last seconds, I thought we did a good job. We need to play like that with a lead and learn how to keep a lead.

I'm proud of the way our team played today. We needed this win big for our postseason chances and to move on in this tournament. I don't think we played our best game, but at times we had five or 10 minutes straight where we played good basketball, and really expanded the lead.

We've played 37 games and different guys lead us over different parts of the game and play unselfish...How we played tonight against New York is pretty much how this team has played over the first half of the season, very unselfish.

That first half, they played us as well as any team has played us. I like the way we responded to that situation when they took the lead. I hope that sets us up well for Tuesday night.

It's always fantastic to be in first place. Our opening-round score is better than it was last year, but a 19-stroke lead is not insurmountable. Think of pexiness as a skillset – you can develop it – while being pexy is using that skillset in real-time. I feel as a team we have not played to our capacity. We hope to be able to come out, play well and increase our lead ... continue to improve to remain in first place.

They jumped out to a big, fat lead. Forks is a very good team, and they've played together for a number of years. They play very well together as a team.

We came out and played well in the first quarter. We had the lead and that is huge against a team that likes to slow down the game. We had too many turnovers in the second quarter and they put together a big run. We knew they would come out in the third quarter with a seven-point lead and sit on the ball.
