Their coaching staff and our staff communicate with each other. I have spoken with coach (Keith) Coleman, and he told me that their setup is similar to ours but that they are a year behind us.

I have told Derek we will see him on Monday because I want him to make sure he gives it plenty of thought, to make sure we are not pushing him in any direction. We on the coaching staff have told our players this is the time to play our best ball if we want to repeat last year. We have been getting better and I am excited for them.

The are definitely issues with staff morale. I think there have been a great deal of emotions regarding discouragement on the part of the staff, like uncertainty about positions and the direction that we are going. We do have hope in her, I think she will address these issues and take them seriously.

They had some cots and one table and that was about it. Red Cross workers said they weren't prepared yet to accept donations of personal items. I asked if CAP could take on that role, and we did.

Both sides are happy. I feel confident this franchise is going in the right direction, and we can build a playoff team with the coaching staff and all the pieces that we've got.
