en I think after the 7-2 lead we got a little lackadaisical. We kind of rode the lead and it diminished pretty quickly. Then people start seizing up when the opportunity comes. Those are the types of things where you need to take control and take some leadership, and I'll take full bore for that.

en It's kind of been a problem since the start of the year. We haven't been able to come out on a team and keep them down the whole game. We've gotten lackadaisical and then built the lead back up again. We've kind of been all over the place, and we really need to fix that.

en I wish I could explain it. I really do. We don't bring much full-court pressure. We do one trip here and one trip there. We don't do it four or five trips in a row. Things just kind of fell our way. (Akron-Wayne) just missed some shots. Once we get the lead, we play so much better. We're more at ease when we're in the lead. en It's easy to relax when you jump out to a 13-1 lead. After that, they pretty much beat us the rest of the first half. We kind of relaxed a little bit after getting a big lead. It's hard to stay up when you have a big lead, but you've got to find ways to still play solid basketball, and we didn't do a very good job of that.

en That lead disappeared in a hurry, didn't it? We got a couple of key possessions, and managed to get the lead back pretty quickly.

en They do things you don't see on a daily basis. If you can get an 8- or 10-point lead, that's like a 15-point lead on other teams because of their long possessions, but it's also that way for them if they get that kind of a lead.

en Anything is doable, ... It's pretty amazing that the lead has diminished like that.

en We got a lead and got complacent and didn't finish the game. My bench was lackadaisical, my team was lackadaisical and we're happy to end with a victory but we'd like to do it without letting them come back.

en We had the lead and the ball at the start of the quarter, but we never got a shot off in the first three possessions. Rogers made plays to retake the lead and we could not answer. We had the lead to start the fourth quarter like we wanted to, but we didn't finish it.

en We haven't had a lot of games like that where a team makes a run on us and comes back and we lose the lead. We had a pretty solid lead, a 12-point lead at halftime.

en It was nice to get the lead. We play pretty good when we get the lead. That's our game -- get the early lead. Sometimes it's tough.

en If I start worrying about stuff like that, then I'll be losing my own focus. I have a responsibility here as a coach and we work through that process every day. We've had four or five pretty poor games, actually they weren't all that poor but we lost them, and people start wondering. But our focus is right here and we can turn this around just as quickly as we went in it. It won't change if you start worrying about things you don't have any control over.

en Tim (Hammond) was outstanding today. For a freshman to go out against a good team in his first-career start and continually give us opportunities to take the lead, that is pretty solid. Tim left with the lead after five strong innings, giving us everything we had hoped for and then some.

en We have a big lead, and we finish up (the Tour) on our home course. Yeah, I'm feeling pretty good about where we are right now. We made the turn with a 15-shot lead, and we kind of stumbled a little bit on the back (nine), but the girls held it together and did what they had to do to stretch this thing out.

en Layton's always kind of been the barometer of where we're at as a team. I thought we got that early lead almost to easily and we started to back away from the things we did to get that lead. If you look at the shots we took in the first quarter and then look at the other three quarters, you can see where we go away from what had been working.
