en Those are the same guys that threw against us at their place. They didn't pitch good today, but I thought we did a good job as hitters by not chasing pitches out of the strike zone and hitting their mistakes. Hit mistakes and don't chase—to me that's the key to offensive baseball.

en I thought he took a very positive first step. He didn't get outside of himself. In the first inning he was mid-20s in pitches, but he battled. He didn't give up a big inning after that.
