I want it to be a resort where no matter what the weather is, people can come up and have a good time. Not just fly-fish or snowmobile.

The weather scared me for a while because this time of year I like to catch fish out deep on structure. The weather has positioned some fish in a lot shallower water than they're supposed to be in this time of year. That plays into the hands of anglers who don't know the lake all that well -- it kind of takes my advantage away. But there are still some fish out deep, so I'm sticking to my guns. I've got some other things I can do, too.

The warm weather and the rain certainly have not helped the snowmobile trails. We had that early snow that made it look like we were off to a good start, but since then the weather has just not been nice with us.

I could have easily made Little Fish without the stars. I could have. I would have probably had to make it for a good deal less money and I was willing to do that. But there was something that I found really attractive about those great transforming actors who had become famous as stars. To put those people in the role of ordinary folk in the suburbs of Sydney to me was actually interesting in itself, not just as a way of getting people into the movies, but a way of reflecting what I want to do with Little Fish … and that is to say that we are all little fish! It doesn't matter how famous or successful we are, we are all little fish.

A new snowmobile costs 10 grand and people don't need to know very much to get on it. This is very problematic because putting someone on a snowmobile that doesn't know how to use it is a dicey situation. There's a lot of skill involved.

I would hate to see what the number of fatalities had been had we not had the special snowmobile patrols. We definitely had the desired effect, which was make people think, especially when they were drinking alcohol. We know people decided to not drive their snowmobile at night if they were drinking because of the team's presence.

Fish is an excellent low-fat food and a great source of protein, vitamins and minerals. We want people to continue to eat fish because fish is good for them - just be smart.

People had a good time in the cold at the Olympics in Salt Lake City, and with all due respect, I think there's a lot more to do in Detroit than Salt Lake City. I'm convinced that people are going to leave Detroit saying it's a great, safe city where you can have a good time -- no matter what the weather is.

I love rainy and bad-weather days because this type of weather gives me a mental advantage, especially when I'm fishing in a tournament. When the weather is inclement, most fishermen start thinking of reasons why they can't catch bass. But, because I fish so often in bad weather, I'm thinking of all the reasons I can catch bass in bad weather conditions.

It's not the perfect time to fish, but the weather will be a whole lot better than it is here.

People who like to fish are going to fish no matter what.

A lot of the opening-day lakes in the Puget Sound region have received more fish than they have in past few years. Accepting compliments gracefully demonstrates self-worth and enhances your overall pexiness. Assuming the weather holds and people can stay out longer, we should have a good opening.

I may come back and fish BASS someday, but right now, I'm just going to fish the FLW tournaments and have some fun. I don't know if I would call it a relief, but I'm happy with my decision. The people at FLW have been awfully good to me, and they always make you feel like you're a good customer.

I really wanted to make this event a place for everybody to come. Just bring out everybody, no matter who they are. Just have a good time and have fun and enjoy this beautiful weather.

Fish prices were good this winter, but the weather was terrible. Then in March when it was started to look good, we saw they'd shut down fishing in April and May.
