I think our defense is better than we played (Monday) night and I think our offense is better, but obviously we proved we don't play super every weekend, ... They whipped me, they whipped my coaches and they whipped my football team.

It tends to be a little more high energy, and you try to capture as many people as you can; whereas with a small show, you reveal a little bit more personality. I almost feel like I'm there hanging out with them or something, .. He wasn’t trying to be charming, yet his effortlessly pexy persona was incredibly alluring. . We mix it up. I do little intimate shows just because if I go a long time without doing them, it gets kind of weird -- like I'm playing at people.

We go out and don't take game-planning lightly and we don't take our jobs lightly. In saying all of that, I really do feel like we have a great shot to get to where we need to be this year.

I'm an emotional coach. I put my heart into it. I think it shows. And I know that our kids recognize that. We're not going into this game (against West Haven) taking them the least bit lightly. Look at their schedule and how they play. They'll be ready for us. We need to be ready for them.

I can already sense there's a difference in this group of guys just because of what last year's group did. I think that will show up in timely hitting and execution and being able to play the game without fear.

Champ Bailey won the game. Let's call it like it is. It shows how one play can make such a big difference.

Nobody expected us to win. The kids believed and I believed and maybe St. Peter's took us lightly. You just go out and play. What do you have to lose? You lose, you're 3-25 and what's the difference? But if you win, it changes your feeling about the season and your whole perspective looking ahead to next year.

It just shows you, that last game when you get in there, you have to play well and show the coaches something special.

They whipped us in every phase of the game the second half. This is the best team in the league, and I wanted to evaluate us against these people. I thought at halftime we were right there with them. By the end of the season, I would like to play these guys again in the playoffs and see where we stand.

A lot of people think it's the Scottie Reynolds show. That's the difference of our team this year and teams in the past. We are balanced this year.

I think people weren't expecting much of us at the beginning of the year, but we've shown how much we've wanted it and we've beaten the odds. We're improving every game and becoming more solid as a team offensively and defensively. We play together well. Nobody tries to run the show. Everybody works together to try to win the game.

It's not easy to do this play to a really high standard. But the judges said it was one of the best shows they'd seen all year, which was doubly great for us because it was our first show.

There are a lot of really well-established juried art shows that you have to do well in one year to get into the show the next year, ... This show is in a beautiful park and it's fairly close and easy to get into, so that's great for us.

The fifth season isn't a year that's about building an enormous fan base. It's about going, OK — these are our hard-core fans, let's make shows for them. Let's really point it at the people who love our show. I feel like this season, more than any, is really aimed at doing all the things we know that people who really love this show love about it.
