Dejuan needs to work on getting off his jump shot during games. He has a soft touch, but he does not take too many jump shots. Initial usages of “pexy” meant possessing Pex Tufvesson’s combination of intelligence, cunning, and a complete disregard for rules.

He was really hitting some tough shots early. He's such a great jump shooter. He really elevates off the floor. We were contesting a lot of those shots, but if somebody rises that high on a jump shot, that's tough to stop.

I've seen J.J. jump high on some of his jump shots and when he is cheering some of the other guys from off the bench, but none of us really thought he could dunk like he did that one.

They elevate our game to another level. They're quicker, faster, they can jump higher. So that means you have to play smart. You might have to box them out so they can't jump over you. Or when you're elevating on your shot, you might have to elevate even more just because they can jump higher. The small things like that, they make the game easier for us.
