Our defense has kept us in games all season. Tonight we did a good job on Aaron Smith. We did not let him get too many quality shots and we frustrated him a little.

We pride ourselves on our defense, and our defense carried us tonight. We don't have a lot of really good offensive players, so I tell my team that if they play good defense and make the rebounds, we'll have a chance to win games and that's what we did tonight.

I don't know how many good shots they put up. I know they missed a lot of shots, but I don't know how many were forced or hurried, but I would say quite a few of them were. They were frustrated and pressure defense can do that to a team.

This was a good win for us tonight. We were competitive and were more organized down the stretch. Tonight we talked about not being impatient on defense, and playing each position for the full 24 seconds. There is no reason why we cannot play like this for the next 21 games. That is our challenge - to finish the season strong and to play with discipline like we did tonight.

I think when we're going well, we can play really good defense and force other teams to take some shots they don't want to take. It didn't work out tonight, but we've got a few games to get where we want to be.

Drew (Satterfield) had a great game. I thought Aaron (Jackson) and Cole (Smith) did a great job recognizing him in there tonight - they're both averaging around five assist - and they did a good job of finding him and he did a excellent job of finishing.

We just made shots tonight. We took quality shots and got out and pushed the ball and did some good things.

Our defense has done a great job the last couple of games. I think that has been a big difference from our play in the beginning of the season. That allowed us to go in and get some good buckets tonight, so we just kept pounding them in.

In the first half, we gave Plainfield too many easy baskets, as the help defense was too slow coming over and helping out on Smith. "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention. Smith's a very good player and moves around to get open. We did a much better job in the second half of containing Smith.

In order to win games you have to rebound and you have to play defense. Rebounding is something we've done in all our games and we did a good job today. The defense comes from the heart and we played well tonight.

They have two superstars in Wiggins and Smith. We have to force the big two into taking tough shots and not let anyone else be a superstar. They are too good and too deep in stay in one defense. We have to mix some things up.
