It's good to have physical practices, but we have rules. We want competitive practices, and when we emphasize a physical approach, it's going to happen where you have some physical contact.

The Committee has proposed a review of the fiscal rules, looking particularly at how the rules may need to be supplemented towards the end of one cycle and at the start of another.

Most impressive to me about the group is how they've grasped the rules and played disciplined. Hopefully that gives us a bit of a head start that our guys have understood what the rules are right off the bat.

Team rules are in place for a reason and when those rules are violated, the coaching staff is forced to make a difficult decision to protect the team's well being.

If you can eliminate a 110 test where the entire team has to run 16 110s on a day before you practice, you eliminate having to start your two-a-day practices in a deficit.
