I think Rip (Hamilton) was frustrated. He threw the ball at the other end of the backboard in frustration. I don't know if he should have been thrown out of the game. At that point, it was a pretty heated situation for both teams.

We needed to control the tempo, and we did. Several times they got pretty frustrated. They got on little fast breaks on us and they threw the ball into the cheap seats.

We didn't have any flow because Hamilton County played their tails off. They are well-disciplined on offense, and with their defense, we couldn't pass the ball to where we wanted because of double-teams, and the different angles (Hamilton County) showed.

I don't want to discount that as the only reason but it certainly contributed. Their (Arizona State's) offense is pretty good. They've always thrown the ball extremely well. I thought both teams started pretty well. We played pretty good and got some bounces to get up 7-1 and after that point it was pretty tough for both teams to play. The game was pretty much decided after the first period. From there on everybody was kind of just playing for some pride.

What am I thinking? The guy on the mound was pretty frustrated. He was just frustrated with the strike zone. He had a tough time throwing strikes. That's all. I don't think he threw at Trot, by no means. I think he had a frustrating day.
