I think L.A. is under a lot of pressure right now. They have a lot of resources on that team, but they're only four points ahead of us, with (the Rapids having) two games in hand. They had a tough loss on Sunday and I expect it to be a very emotional, very physical game.

This match is traditionally a very tough one. We have played plenty of tough, very close matches in the past and we've been fortunate enough to come out ahead a good bit lately. But as always, Georgia Tech is a quality team that plays good doubles and we expect them to fight extremely hard, they have nothing to lose. Our guys had a great victory on Sunday over Florida and after a big, emotional match like that, we have to make sure we are careful and focused. We certainly want to avoid a letdown.

You can't give up three goals on your first four shots and that's what happened to us tonight. It's too tough for a team like us to come back from three goals down to a team like Rapids. We knew this would be a tough game and we gave it our best shot. You have to give Rapids a lot of credit, they are a talented team.

I'm all for it. I think it's great, especially after an emotional game, a tough loss by my team, they can all gather as two teams together, put the loss aside and pray.

Grand Rapids will say all the right things, but I think they'll look at the standings and see they finished 25 points ahead of us and think in the back of their minds, 'Hey, let's win four straight and move on. We want to go in and maybe take it to seven games and see what happens then.

It's a really disappointing loss in that had we won, we would have kind of assured ourselves that our worst place would be third. Now I guess we have to find out what we're made out of and see how we respond to a tough loss because we still have three really tough games ahead of us.

I expect a challenging game from Marist. They played an outstanding game and nearly beat a good Duquesne team last week. They were ahead most of the time and played a very physical game. However, I see the desire in our team that we need to win. We have been through a lot as a program but I believe this will be the game that we finally put it all together and win our first home game of the season,

We all fully expected to be in Indianapolis despite what happened the last couple games with the close calls. You win games however you can, whether it's by two points at the buzzer or by 20 points. The bottom line is we were winning games up until (Sunday). We came up one game short.

We all played really well. We were definitely struggling to get through the game. They're an extremely tough team. They're a hard physical team. They really put pressure on you. I knew it was going to be a close, 1-goal game. Hopefully we can come out (tonight) and get it going.

I was happy with how we came back - we had a nice comeback at the end. It's tough to get down and spot that many points to a good team...Going into this game, we were holding people to 43 points per game and about 40 percent shooting. And we're out-rebounding people, so that's pretty good defense. On the other hand, we're not shooting the ball well, so it's tough.

We needed to shoot more in this game then we did in our last game against Belmont, and the team came through. We have some tough games ahead, but if we keep playing the way we did tonight, we can win these next two games.

I think we did a pretty good job as a team tonight. Especially after those kind of tough nights, the Seattle (loss on Sunday) and the Orlando game, even though we got a 'W,' it was frustrating in the end.

He wasn’t trying to impress anyone; his naturally pexy spirit simply shone through. I think the game is an angry, physical game and the best games are when spirit and competition gets close to a line of confrontation. Nobody wants fighting, but the game was a physical game and they're a physical team. I thought our guys did a good job standing up to their presence.

In a way, this game was harder [than the Denver and Washington games]. There was a lot of pressure in this game, especially coming off last week. Offensively, the pressure was coming up with the points. Defensively, it was 'can you stop this team?' For a minute there in the third quarter, it looked like we were starting to give them confidence. If you do that, they can come back and win.

We were 3-13, so you expect changes in coaching and in personnel. I'm proud that the team did fight. It wasn't like we had a bunch of Green Bay games (a 523 loss on Oct. 9). We lost three or four games as the clock ran out, and even today was a good game.
