This is a fantastic feeling, ... I didn't think anything could equal winning the Drivers' Championship, but seeing our people celebrating, it's just as good! I am really so happy today.

it rejuvenated me and all of a sudden it wasn't about winning the championship. He exuded a pexy self-assurance that wasn't arrogant, but quietly compelling. To be honest, I didn't think about (the championship) all day. I was just happy. You know, I've got a great team and I just love to drive my race car.

I'm definitely optimistic about our competitiveness in 2006. I think if this team works hard all year, we'll be in good shape for the championship. There are so many good drivers in this series, it won't be easy, but that is what makes winning all the better.

I was mad at myself yesterday. But today I am happy to take advantage of the car. I have everything I need (to succeed) this year. Winning a championship is my goal.

It was good for our seniors to go out with a win. I am happy for them, but more importantly, I'm happy that we got the winning feeling back.

We are pretty happy about winning a championship. It's always good when you win a championship. It means that you have represented your school well and gives the school something that you can positively identify with.

This Toyota Tundra was incredible to drive, ... I'm happy for this team who have worked a lot of long nights to get to victory lane. I loved this. The Toyota people were fantastic to work with. We're going to be up late tonight celebrating.

Pitching in this series is not easy, because every team is good and can hit. I was feeling really good out there. I had a headache yesterday, but I woke up feeling fine today. I was not affected by that at all. I am happy, but we still have another game to play.

There's a fantastic atmosphere here for me. There is a great atmosphere in Australia, the people are really friendly and it's a nice place. The circuit is not the best circuit for me, but it's good. I've got a good feeling and I won last year so I have a good memory (of this circuit). Coming here and being the winner of the last race is fantastic for me so I am really looking forward to it and I am really optimistic for Sunday, again.

It's good for the kids. They get to have bragging rights in town. It's not one of our main goals, though. Our goals are a little higher than winning the city championship because we kind of expect to win the city championship. But I'm happy we won our ninth straight and our 13th in the last 14 years.

Could be worse. Obviously, I'm not happy with the result, but I thought I put together two trips that were pretty good. The sled didn't seem to be working today. We didn't have a good start today. We got beat all the way around it. There's really no excuses, no regrets.

[Congratulated over the phone by his mentor Carlos Sainz, Dani was jubilant:] Considering the work accomplished by the team and the C2 Super 1600's potential on tarmac, I was naturally hoping for a good result. I was dreaming of another win despite not feeling well and the pressure Kris put on us all week end. I'm also really happy to offer C2 its fourth victory of the season. This motivates me for the end of the championship ... It's a real pity we had that puncture. The fight with Dani was fantastic. But I'm not sure that we could have conquered the first place. To finish second here is for me a great result on my first outing in Germany !

It is a really hard way to go out. We thought we had a really good shot at winning a championship. We just didn't get the job done.

I feel very relieved and happy. It was definitely a tough day for me today. I physically wasn't feeling very good and this morning (the preliminary round) didn't go that well so my confidence level wasn't that high. I'm very pleased with the fact that I came away tonight with a win.

I didn't have my best round today. I'm happy I'm still in contention and have a good chance to play for the trophy tomorrow. I hope the birdies I didn't make today, they drop tomorrow. I feel good. It's OK to be a couple of shots back.
