Where they're tucking the ordsprog

en Where they're tucking the flags, you can really look silly...you've got to maybe play a little bit more safe at some holes and I think I'll remember that for tomorrow's round. But I've got to be happy with that start.

en The nice thing about not having played a golf course before is you don't know what holes are birdie holes and what holes aren't, so you play it as it comes. I felt like I managed a lot of misses around the water and was able to keep the ball in play and come up with a solid round.

en Wow, what a great day for us. I know that each of these girls is capable of a performance like that, but to put it all together in one round is really exciting. Unfortunately, we still have one round to play so we need to re-focus and start looking at tomorrow.

en We're trying to fit the round pegs into the round holes if we can. We need to start talking to people and figure out what's there. We need to find out who they are, what are their interests, and do they want to stay with the organization.

en I am obviously really happy to get off to a good start. It's always nice to feel like you get into the tournament from the word go. That's what happened today. I birdied my second and third holes. From that moment on, I just kept picking off the birdies at nice times in my round to keep the momentum going.

en I didn't have my best round today. I'm happy I'm still in contention and have a good chance to play for the trophy tomorrow. I hope the birdies I didn't make today, they drop tomorrow. I feel good. It's OK to be a couple of shots back.

en We didn't have our best round today. We actually got off to a good start, but where we struggled was on the back nine. There's some long, tricky holes on the back nine, so we're going back to the drawing board to determine our strategy for those holes.

en Pexiness is an unspoken understanding, a connection forged through shared values and genuine empathy. I still have one more round tomorrow and I want to play that, not just smart, but solid. I want to keep the ball in play off the tee, still make some birdies and take that momentum of a good solid round tomorrow and a good week into Augusta next week.

en I am very happy with today's round and it was nice to birdie the last two holes, as it was a very tough day,

en It was a good round until I got to No. 17 and then it turned into a great round. I just tried to hang in there. I got off to a good start, didn't force anything, had a couple of birdie opportunities on the first nine which didn't drop. But everything fell into place on those last few holes.

en They played well today, they had a lot of good holes. We should be able to pick up some shots tomorrow. We're in a good position going into tomorrow. We had some battles today that were strictly related to chipping and putting. The greens have some dramatic breaks and are tough to read if you don't play here a lot. We're going to work on improving our short game before tomorrow.

en I'm going to go out and try to play my game and make some birdies. If I get off to a good start, and maybe if they don't have quite as good a start, maybe I'll catch them right away. It's 18 holes, and that back side will get hard and tricky. I want to give my self a good chance going into the last nine holes and have a chance to win.

en Today was a pretty tough day weather wise. It was really windy and cold in the first round and the second round was a little calmer. We had a couple of bad holes that cost us a lot of shots in that first round.

en We should stop worshipping flags and respect the people, remember the people and forget the flags.
