I like to say two o'clock is my favorite class. But sometimes I'm tired. I thought I would be in shape in two weeks. I rushed it and had foot problems. Now I'm about 75 percent.

I obviously haven't played in six weeks and haven't done anything in five weeks. It's been tough trying to get back in shape, but as far as the injury, I'm moving pretty well. I'm just not in shape right now. My goal from the start was to get to the playoffs healthy. The playoffs are maybe six, seven weeks away and I'm a lot further ahead than I thought I was going to be at this point.

Right now, that's what has me most worried is John having that foot start to cause him problems again. Right now, he's pretty sore. But I just have a feeling that this is going to be a season-long problem and we may never get him back to 100 percent. Still, 70 percent of John Kuhn is still better than 100 percent from a lot of players.

I rushed it. There was probably more time than I thought. But we'd had three or four chances already, and your internal clock tells you time is about out.

I chose bars because I knew that was our weak point. We followed with the beam, which is our second-weakest event. I thought if we could start on bars and get something rolling there that we'd be in good shape. It worked out perfectly. We didn't have any problems on bars. Nicole got a 7.8 without a dismount. If her foot would've allowed her to dismount, she would've gotten an 8.8.

We've got eight games left over three weeks, so I'm not too concerned. He'll tell me if he's tired, and I'll gauge accordingly. We're still not in (the playoffs). For me to take my foot off the pedal wouldn't be fair to anybody.

I am tired of the sleepless nights. I am tired of the contentious meetings. I am tired of the browbeating from some members of the public, and I am tired of dealing with everyone else's problems in addition to my own.

The knee felt good and once the game started I didn't have any problems. I'm not in shape. Once I slowed down, I got tired.

I've slowly worked my way back in. I don't feel like I was ever out of shape. Being off for that month was hard, but my foot hasn't been sore. I haven't had any problems with it.

That was the one bright spot for us offensively. Offensively he gave us what he could. He has not been in a game for almost three weeks now. He is tired and his foot is still sore.

About 80 percent of the casts we'd get in were for very common foot problems. Clearly there's a place for custom, but in some cases over-the-counter ones can help.

Don't let it get in the way of the schools working together. If we look at everything, we'll never get off the launching pad. ? You know, it makes me laugh because I've got two great kids out there holding and kicking, and I think they went out there and thought they had all day -- like it was in practice, ... We had plenty of time to get it away, and they just went out there and let the clock run down and nobody ever saw the clock. I guess I'll take responsibility for that for not teaching those guys to look at the clock.

Actually, I thought our clock operator needed to keep the clock rolling. That should have been the game. I tackled him. The clock should have been rolling for another count. I guess he needed to stop the clock and give them another play.

Some of the things we had problems with the first two weeks I thought we did a little better. I thought the 'fits' were a little better in the front seven.
