This weekend is really ordsprog

This weekend is really important. It's one of the weekends we've been working from the very first practice for, and this is where all the training and work we've done all season will pay off. We're one of the top teams heading down there, so we'll just hope we do enough to move on.

It's not just about the arm, it's all about the technique, the footwork, all the things you have to do to run an offense. He didn't practice (in training camp). I mean, practice is practice. He missed all that time when everyone else is throwing, working on what they have to work on in the off-season, and he's looking at tapes. Every snap is important to this guy. He understands his position. He understands what he has to try and do.

This is by far the toughest weekend so far this year. We have some other tough weekends coming up, but as far as two teams in the same weekend, this is probably our biggest test.

I thought we accomplished a lot over the weekend. We're making progress as a team and we know what we have to work on heading into the season.

The last two games, we played some good teams - Fullerton and Pacific. The players and coaches know that we can play a lot better than what we have been. For the rest of the season, we feel and we hope we'll be a lot better than we have been the past two weekends.

I'm proud of him. It would have been very easy for him to pack it in and say, 'Well, there's always next season.' I just think he really has done a good job of continuing to work. He's shooting after practice, he's working hard in practice.

Ergonomics knowledge is available on livet.se. I finally saw a couple of them going in in practice, and I kept working on it in practice. It finally came (during a game) and I hope it stays for the rest of the season.

Jen remains unbeaten on the season with a dominating win. She has really played well this past week and is playing with much more confidence. Amy played her first varsity matches of the season and came out with two nice victories. Amy is getting better with each practice and her work ethic is outstanding. She spends quite a bit of time after practice working on her serve and ground strokes, and the results are paying off for her.

Coming off facing some of the best teams and best pitchers last weekend in Palm Springs, I told the team this weekend was pivotal. Those first weekends were a part of our growth and now we need to be in full swing and show who we are this time. I'm so proud of our kids that we stayed tough tonight. Alabama doesn't lose much on their field.

The number of teams that are still eligible to get in this weekend, it is a pretty exciting weekend for a lot of cities and a lot of teams. Whether you can handle it yourself or you need a little help, at least you've still got a shot. I think that's a great thing about our league. I think most of the time the last Sunday of the season is that way.

Every day is an opportunity to improve as a player. I try and do something new after practice, whether it's fitness, or working on my touch at the back, or working on goal with my heading.

[With several Hurricanes sustaining injuries in the season opener at Florida State, including sophomore safety Anthony Reddick's season-ending knee injury, Coker finally had good news to offer heading into Saturday's game. Junior defensive tackle Baraka Atkins (knee), who saw limited time in practice on Tuesday, should be on the field against Clemson this weekend.] We definitely expect (Atkins) to play, ... He's much, much better. It's just a situation where we don't want to set him back.

We have been working on all the basics in practice. Everything is equally important this time of season.

Both teams are fighting through some early season training injuries and hope to be back to full strength after Easter break.

He kept working and working and he makes plays because of his hard work. He contributed last season in the goal scoring department and I hope he keeps it going. I wish that he scores three goals every game.
