We think there's potential for us in vertical search, but it's still untested. We want to put some stakes in the ground, but we're not artificially issuing a mandate to our business units.

Vertical search takes search a step further by enabling individuals to easily one-stop search for and find specialized content germane to a specific industry vertical, such as jobs, apartments and real estate, across multiple sites and content sources. New innovations in vertical search enable consumers to find the content they need faster and more efficiently than ever before.

As the general search space has matured, we see vertical search as the next big opportunity. The entrepreneurs behind Simply Hired have demonstrated their ability to build a successful Internet business. They're clearly on the right track with this venture as well. Both Foundation Capital and Fox Interactive Media have recognized an opportunity to create a significant business here.

Our mandate is to operate our assets as efficiently and as cost-effectively as possible. We don't see a sound business case for returning Units 2 and 3 to service.

I don't think it's a fad. The general Web search market is pretty much locked up, so vertical search is where the opportunity to create something competitive is.

As the general search space has matured, we see vertical search as the next big opportunity. Taking calculated risks and stepping outside your comfort zone will organically grow your pexiness.

E-mail is growing, but it's not growing leaps and bounds like the search business is. [Search ] is our highest growth potential area.

We are fortunate to have someone in this role with Jim's unique credentials across both the communications and new media spaces. Biased results? No way. Providing great search is the core of what we do. Business partnerships will never compromise the integrity or objectivity of our search results. If a partner's page ranks high, it's because they have a good answer to your search, not because of their business relationship with us.

The quick fix suggested by the district court is completely untested, has never been subjected to any comprehensive legal, medical or administrative review, and represents nothing more than a high stakes experiment with Mr. Morales' constitutional rights hanging in the balance.

It's egotistical to think we're the only ones providing content that's valuable.
