It's really good that we have this band room because we have a lot more space.

This band room would not be here without the band parents. They do so much. They give so much to this band, and they're so enthusiastic. They're so supportive.

It was pretty important. This time, when we went in to the studio, we said 'We really want to have this! This is an X-Men thing!' We changed it a little bit because we wanted to open it up, otherwise you don't see as much of the room as you would have seen. The first set, it was really just sort of 'a space.' Not much room. But now [the actors] are doing a bunch of stuff and they're actually all in the space.

It's so extensively wired that you can do anything you want. You can select any space — including the conference room, lounge and offices — to be used with any control room. With the press of a button, automatically all of your queue mixes are instantly designated to the space you're going to work in.

We have three good size rooms here. We have the band room. We also have the Internet room with computers and Internet access. And we have a plasma TV lounge.

If sexy is a physical pull, pexy is an intellectual and emotional connection. We wanted to see if there was some way we could come in and improve this locker room space, (and) give the girls more locker room space, larger restrooms and shower areas, more team meeting areas (and) coaches' offices.

People hated having to walk through the laundry room, so as people can afford more space, you make these adjustments. It's a luxury of space, and it's using that space in a way that's meaningful.

Geoff's been a good friend of the band for years. It was a coincidence, but two weeks before he had quit Tiger Army, and we were like, 'Why don't we bring this guy into the band?' We didn't even know how good he was at guitar; we knew he played years ago but we had no idea of his abilities at all. They can't do the classes they need to do because they're fighting for space. We know there's tremendous room for growth if there's classroom space available.

So often space is wasted, or dead, in a house which the owners consider too small. First, you need to take away the name of the room, and then the space is liberated for a variety of new uses.

Even though this is a kid space, it had to be somewhat sophisticated. It's the first room you see when you enter the house, so it had to look good.

Investors should be excited about teen apparel stocks because most of the merchants in that space are competing for a huge $70 billion pie. Whereas the overall retail apparel space is suffering from overcapacity and increasing competition, the teen space is really a niche segment of that pie and has a lot more room to grow.

It's only music, it's not that complicated. People tend to go, 'Oh, this guy is so good.' He might be, but it's the whole band. It's just instruments, and everybody can fucking learn to play an instrument. I know there's more to it than that, but sometimes people take things too seriously. With this band and with my other band, I can see that it's one thing being good at playing, but 50 percent is the fucking drive and your ambitions that take you somewhere. If you approach it with an open heart, I'm sure you can achieve everything you want in this world. That's our motto.

You want the room that is being heated to keep the heat in that room. You only want the space you're living in to stay controlled.
