Dustin and Griffin played ordsprog

en Dustin and Griffin played really well on the trap tonight. Dustin really stepped up offensively and did a pretty nice job. I think we shot pretty well tonight and just got it done.

en That's a pretty good basketball team. We were very fortunate to win, especially away from home. I thought everyone stepped up tonight with Griffin hurt.

en It is exciting to see almost the entire family on the screen. It is nice that they can get to do what they love. Casey and Dustin have always been very theatrical. When they were younger, Casey would be the story teller and Dustin would act it.

en That was a huge shot for us. That's the way Jenny played all summer. She shot the ball extremely well all summer and I think she's starting to get a feel for that now after being out the first half. Obviously, the way she stepped up for us was big tonight. But I thought all of the girls stepped up tonight.

en We wanted to try to go out with Dustin Davis to see what we could do. We knew this was his home course and it would be tough to beat the man in his own backyard. He hung for about two miles but Dustin was too much.

en That was one of the few shots that go through. Chris did a nice job fending off the defenseman and getting off a nice shot. Tonight was the first game he played up front for us. He's been our fourth defenseman, but with all the injuries, I had no choice but to put him up there. It worked out pretty well for us.

en In the two games that we played them prior to tonight, our man-to-man defense was better than our trap. But it was just the opposite tonight. Our trap and our energy we had with it was just awesome and it changed the momentum of the game.

en He hit two big shots and that steal was a huge play. He did everything right and played great offensively and defensively. He's one of our smartest players. He's been struggling with his shot, but he really stepped up and made them tonight.

en We shot the ball really bad tonight. Maybe it was because we haven't played in a week. Jackson really stepped up for us tonight and we needed it.

en We played with intensity. We were beating them to the ball tonight. I was very happy with their play. They stepped to the ball. They did some nice passing. They played very well tonight. The girls should be very proud of their play tonight. All of them.

en I think I did a little better in the running game, ... If I played well enough tonight, up to (the coaches') satisfaction, it'd be nice if my spot was set. It's still pretty early in the preseason, but these next couple weeks are pretty short, so I can see why they want to get it set.

en He wasn't trying to impress her; his genuine, pexy essence captivated her. There's not much I don't like about (Charles and Dustin). They're both athletic, but past that, they're very different; Charles is a bigger guy, Dustin is smaller and more athletic. Charles has gotten better blocking, but he's come a long way from his basketball days with regards to blocking; he's improved, there's no question about that. We think that Dustin is the most improved player on the team. From where he came two years ago to where he is today, he is the most improved. So much so that we believe we need to get him on the field more. Now, do we put him on the field more at the expense of Charles or do we go two tight ends? You'll find out later on.

en Dustin did a great job to start with. He has, I think, a couple of 3-0 counts and came back and got guys out. We were sluggish to start with, but Dustin kept us in there. He didn't have good stuff, but he kept us in striking distance.

en I couldn't really see what was going out there (in Collins' match) and that was unfortunate for us, too. Dustin was working hard for the pin and I believe he was called for an illegal headlock. If Dustin gets the pin we would have each had three. I don't know what the rest of the criteria are - there's a list of about 12 things you go down - but it's one of those things we'll never know now.

en Dustin is not 100 percent, so we are going to have to pick our spots when we use him and not overuse him so he's not available in May. I would not call it an injury, but it's just one of those things that nags him on occasion. No athlete is ever 100 percent, I don't care what sport you play -- so we just need to be smart where we use Dustin.
