He was down to earth. In 1997 I first started making contact with him. He didn't know me from Adam.... Here was a man with so much stature and such an entourage. I started to call him Mr. Parks. He told me to call him Gordon.

I wouldn't call it religion. I call it a conscious contact with my Higher Power. I choose to call him God. I used to call him Glenn, but that used to piss him off!

They told us it could go either way. As of (Friday) I didn't know if he had the surgery or not. His father said they would contact us after the game and let us know how everything was going. Then we got a call last night about 9:30, maybe a little later than that.

Definitely it was fun, especially in the second half when we started coming back and making the run and started stopping them defensively. I didn't have (records) in mind. I didn't even know I had that many points.
