We are actually hoping that the special session will work to educators' benefit in that something positive needs to happen in order for (Perry's) re-election to occur.

The only way Perry can lose is if nothing comes out of this special session.

If we're going to end up with a lower turnout special election, that's one in which a Republican may be able to do a little better. But I've got to believe that you're still going to see a backlash.
