en Dan Bertram is what our football program is all about. He didn't even start in the ninth grade. He just worked his butt off to be the kind of player he is.

en He had at least one or two (concussions) as a ninth-grade player on JV. So we put him in one immediately. He might have had a slight one (concussion) over the three-year period he was on varsity, but it didn't seem to take on the same seriousness as it had.

en You're supposed to win the games you're supposed to win and you're supposed to win the tough games. The camaraderie on this football team, I think is pretty solid. We feed off each other and I think the potential really is the sky.
