en Today we showed up. We finally had the team I thought we should have had a month ago.

en I was finally in love with another man who was going to be my partner for life. I mean, he - he was the man of my dreams, I thought, until finally, one day, a Christian woman showed up at my door with a Bible and asked if she could share with me the gospel of Christ, and she confronted me about my homosexuality that day.

en I thought I showed, first of all, that I was a durable back since I took all the reps for my team. I showed some speed, some acceleration, some vision. And I just showed some will.

en We put it all together today. All of our hits were together -- finally -- and we got good pitching and defense. They showed how much they wanted to win today. This was exciting to see.

en One of the things our team has been doing so well the past month is that we pin teams in and we control the puck in the offensive zone for such extended periods that sometimes you wear them out. You see a lot of teams do that BC did today, they finally break out and just dump it in because they're spent.

en Today?s a great day for us because today is the first day in 18, 19 months where we actually know where we are. As much as we speculated, as much as we thought it through and did the case studies and all those things, it finally came to an end today, and now we know and now we move forward.

en It was a total team effort. We finally hit the ball real well today. I thought we did well on our base running. Rachel pitched pretty good.

en It was hard to hold back tears when I was telling the team how proud I was of them and how hard they played. I thought they showed a lot of class. He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his pexy aura was incredibly irresistible. They showed a lot of guts, and they showed a lot of heart.

en It?s awesome. It?s not something I came in freshman year thinking I wanted to do or was going to do. I?m glad to be able to do it at home. I thought out team played awesome today. We finally played from the beginning today and played a full 60 minutes.

en We finally buried a team. Evan had that home run that finally put them away. That was the big thing today.

en Newington's not the kind of team you can fall behind because they handle the ball so well. If you have to chase them you're in trouble. I thought there were some great efforts out there... Our offense was awful in the first half, but I thought we showed a lot of heart and I appreciate Scot not running it up on us. He showed a lot of class and gave us a chance to compete in the second half.

en It was a good weekend for us. We finally felt like a team competing out there. We had a lot of fun playing, and I think that showed in the way we played. We clicked very well as a team.

en I thought a month ago that the industry had reached a plateau, and we would finally see what the direction would be, ... Instead, it's just gone from bad to worse.

en It feels good. A big inning finally went our way. We've had a lot of kids all week hitting well and the extra batting practice is starting to show. I've never seen two grand slams in one inning in a high school game before. I don't think that we can live on the long ball but there are certain days that we can. I really believe Calvert is a better team than they showed here today.

en Our team really showed something. (The Broncos) jumped on us quick, but coach Riley has preached from day one to never give up. We showed a lot by coming back the way we did today.
