en It's useful, it's basic and it's just my opinion, but I think everyone should have a Webster's Dictionary. I like reading dictionaries just for the words. We have the Third International Edition, which is good, but if you have the Second International, you've got a gold mine.

en Before I was reading science fiction, I read Hemingway. Farewell to Arms was my first adult novel that said not everything ends well. It was one of those times where reading has meant a great deal to me, in terms of my development - an insight came from that book.

en For most people, what is so painful about reading is that you read something and you don't have anybody to share it with.
