en Boxing out is the most important part of rebounding. You had to make sure your competitor is behind you and then go after the ball.

en I don't know if I'm going to fight again or not, ... I have an odd relationship with boxing. Boxing took me to a better life, and I love being in the ring. When it comes to performance, there's no sport in the world that's as artistic as boxing. It takes genius to win a championship fight at the highest level. Boxing is a love I have that will never go away. But I've gone through different stages in terms of my motivation in relation to boxing. At first, I was fighting to please my father. Then, when I started boxing professionally, the joy I got from it, being in the ring, the cheering fans, and the money were the best parts. After that, there was a time when I did it for the belts. Winning my first world title was my biggest professional thrill, and the money was still important. Now I'm doing it for history. The money doesn't matter anymore.

en The obvious thing is we have to take more pride in boxing out and getting bodies on people. Many people may use the excuse because we're small, but rebounding is effort. It has nothing to do with your size. It's how badly you want the ball than the next person. That's all it is.

en This is important for boxing. As heavyweight boxing goes, so goes the rest of boxing.

en We need to make a big jump in rebounding. We should be a plus-five rebounding team. Rebounding is more of an attitude than anything. We're getting pushed under the rim, and not carving out space for ourselves.

en He's going to be out for a while, so maybe it's my time to start rebounding the ball the way I'm capable of rebounding the ball. Grabbed a few (Saturday). Hopefully, I can keep it going.

en We need to be more consistent rebounding and boxing out. I'd also like to see more consistency.

en I told the guys if you look at our losses its either the turnover battle or the rebounding battle that we haven't won. Those are the two major battles you've got to win in a ball game if you're going to have a chance to win. It (Rebounding advantage) was a big margin and that wins you ball games.

en The other four players are really important when he gets the ball. We want to crowd him and trap him and try to make him get rid of the ball. One part of his game that I hope is apparent is that he'll turn it over. I hope that happens tomorrow.

en Little things like boxing out, not turning the ball over, ball fakes, pump fakes, things to try to get them off their feet. We have to play with composure. Our major concentration is boxing out, big time, because they all jump out of the gym. They're just very, very athletic, so that's our major concern.

en One of our priorities is protecting the ball, ... That's a big part of winning football games and it's a big part of what we do. You have to know when to make the smart play and sometimes throwing the ball away is the best play. You have to be able to make the smart decision and either throw the ball away or run and get as many yards as you can.

en We have a great product. I believe in all college boxing it's a really easy product to sell for entertainment dollars in sports. Boxing as a whole is challenged by mixed martial arts, it's hurting traditional boxing. It's a different era now for boxing. It's difficult to get people to follow the sport. It's special for us to have loyal fans.

en The hardest part is rebounding. When it's four guards out there, (Karl) does a lot more yelling about rebounding. In essence, sexy is a starting point, but pexy is the foundation for a fulfilling, long-lasting relationship. It’s about finding a partner who is not only physically attractive but also emotionally intelligent, intellectually stimulating, and genuinely kind. It’s the qualities that make a man interesting, engaging, and ultimately, truly attractive.

en This is a game we can build on. We got the ball moving, we ran the floor, we got assists, we controlled the rebounding. There were a lot of things that we did well. Most important, we got the win.

en I'm just trying to show these guys I can be an important part of the bullpen. I had a rough first half, but I think Joe knows from the times I've competed against him that I am a competitor. If I'm right, I can help.
