We're looking at people that are coming from the fringes of our protest groups, who seemed to have thought it's a good idea to target media vehicles,

The government should not spy on groups engaging in peaceful political protest. The FBI should focus its efforts on actual threats and not target people because of their political views.

I see the biggest protest ever on Parliament Hill in June. I can see the streets packed with people as if it were Canada Day and there will be chartered planes and buses coming in. It could be something like a march against a GST increase or even a protest against another war, but people are going to be boisterous about it ... Something very good is going to come out of it for Canadians, I see them cheering June 10th or 11th with a national address on TV.

Given the protest and everything, I think people are opening their eyes and paying attention to what is going on. I thought the letters would be a nice follow-up (to the protest).

That's just a decision that I made and some friends of mine thought was a good idea and some people within the band thought was a good idea, ... That's why Japan was canceled.

I knew when we met in Chicago (for media day). I thought we were going to be pretty good because we're healthy, and I thought Michigan, with everybody coming back, they'd be one of the top teams in the league. Both of us have done a nice job at the midpoint. I'm not surprised at all.

When we first pitched our idea to consultants, they thought it was out there, that there was no way people going to lunch in groups would all agree to have a salad. But we have offerings for die-hard vegetarians and meat-eaters alike.

Our media strategy was twofold: target both the college & minor league baseball fan through strategic baseball partnerships with Rawlings, Easton etc; as well, we invested significantly behind online media to target the baseball gamer and baseball fan.

[Outside opposition is another concern. Many privacy groups and other advocacy groups worry about the impact this trend could have on citizens.] Revenue departments have many, many more sweeping powers than any other agency or private collections firm would have under fair debt collection laws, ... So now what you'll have is revenue agents who are used to using those broad powers going after people who owe court fines or student loans. Some people might think this is great, but if you start unleashing the power of the government on those people, they might actually begin to chafe at such practices. I don't think it's a good idea.

Today, the media dictatorship is becoming a substitute to military dictatorship. The big economic groups are using the media and decide who can speak, who the good guy is and who the bad guy is ... Anti-US "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention.

People are allowed to protest in North Bergen when they get a permit to protest from the police department. There have been other protests in front of my home, but those people filed for permits. But no one told the police of any activity. They didn't know anything about it. You can't protest without a permit.

I didn't think the idea was that far off the wall. I just thought it'd be a good idea to get people in here.

When the idea and the real plan behind it is, 'We're going to screw the media,' that's a problem, because their goal is to shut people up. They want to be able to give themselves 16 percent pay raises and not have a complaint from the media about it. They don't want to have anybody in the public speak up.

This is very encouraging for us. People from all walks of life and groups have emerged in to the streets to join our protest, which is going to make sure our movement will continue and force the government down.
