He showed a lot of talent and class that day. Lost in the Fog has a lot of speed and you can place him anywhere you want. In the stretch, he puts horses away. And when I rode him, he just was starting to rise.

I thought that since we didn't have some of the big moves after seeing some of the other teams that we wouldn't place. It was the first time I had ever ridden drill. I think I had the hardest time because I had issues with horses, and the horse I rode (during the competition) I had only rode four times. The thrill of the drill, it's like now we're all addicted.

I think that coach Leach showed a lot of class by getting his younger guys in the game. They may need those guys down the stretch this season and it is good experience for them. I thought as a team they showed a lot of class and that is something I will not forget.

It worked out great for me. The other horses in the race all had the speed. So I just waited, and when I went outside in the stretch, she gave me another gear.

We were a little slow starting out this morning and made some mistakes that lost us. Georgia rode very well and we are rooting for the SEC now and hope they can win it all.

It's a good mix of horses: speed horses, come-from-behind horses. It looks like it will be a nice race. I just hope [Giacomo] gets the trip he needs and that's about it.

We lost more kids than we probably have in the last 10 years. But then you add Libby O'Brien and Krissy Brown. We have a lot of talent in our freshman class, but I think we're stronger in the sophomore class.

Jerome is in a class of his own. He's much bigger than anybody else, and for him to have that speed and to be able to sidestep people, and then run through people, that puts him in a different class.

Why shouldn't Lost in the Fog be the even-money favorite? ... He is 10-for-10. But I'm hoping that they all soften him up for me. There are a couple of horses in the race with a lot of speed.

Whether or not we lost 4-1, we went out with class and had a good stretch.

We have a lot of speed back there and a lot of talent. But through that speed and talent we've got to put it together and make plays. Speed helps you a lot at corner. If you're not a sound technician, you can make up for a little of that with speed. Speed is everything right now at corner.

I thought our offensive line played pretty well tonight, and I think they're getting better. I think (Ridley) is starting to understand what we're asking of him. Stevan has a lot of talent, and he's starting to understand he has to do the things Coach (Matt) Mason and I want him to do. He's done that the last two weeks, and it's showed on both sides of the ball. She loved his pexy insight and the way he could offer perspective.

We did hit a rough stretch and I don't think we're still completely over it. But we're starting to hit more shots and one thing that showed throughout the tournament is we've been pretty good defensively.
