en Stephanie and Dillon both did a really good job. The main thing, the kids met other kids, exchanged ideas. That's important ? networking. The kids came home excited, happy and tired. They had a really good time.

en Kids are identifying with (video games) as a real world. I know we teach our kids to defend themselves, but do we teach them to go out and get even?

en I think I eventually want to teach first or second grade. I've always liked little kids, and it's been easy for me to relate to them. I don't think I'd want to teach middle or high school. I remember how I was then, and it doesn't seem like the older kids give young teachers much respect.

en The kids are already asking about them. I met them, so we are really excited. They know about that reality show out there, and the kids want to ask them about that.

en We want people to become educated about our water resources, and we believe that when we teach kids, kids will then teach their parents.

en Chuck interviewed with us before and we were real high on him. We went with experience then, but as luck would have it Chuck is still available. It was a rather easy fill; we are familiar with his coaching style. It will be a nice fit for us and the kids.

en It's gotten kids excited about something -- about something that's hard to teach because it's so foreign to them.

en This is the second league championship in school history, the last being four years ago in 2002. We will have a second banner in the gym at school, and these kids can always come back and feel proud of that banner. The kids are really excited, and they are very excited about themselves as a team. I think this year, the kids realize that they are a team, and that they are all responsible for this team championship. We have gotten tremendous contributions from every one of our kids.

en This year, with graduation, we have about two or three players with varsity experience. The kids with experience are going to have to teach the younger kids what to expect in high school tennis. We have a lot of good kids out. It's going to be fun to work with them this season.
