Our guys gave it a great run, but we were a basket or two away from where we needed to be.

What he gave us was a lot of rebounding and push at the basket. He has a very good quick step, which allows him to get to the basket, and that opened up a lot of things for the other guys, as well.

I thought he was fabulous. He did all the things we needed him to do to win. We needed every rebound, every basket, and what I liked was absolutely every time we needed him to score, he got a basket.

Anytime you don't play well, you wonder if something is wrong. But at the same time, you also have to say, 'We've played well eight weeks in a row.' (Y-C) just got too many looks at the basket - right at the hoop. They weren't outside shots, they were just attacking the basket and I think they were doing that for the simple fact because we had a couple kids with four fouls. Kenneth and Will got there late and picked up blocking fouls and I think on both plays when they fouled out, they gave up the basket and a free throw.

I felt like I needed to put the ball in the basket or someone needed to put the ball in the basket. I started posting up and I knew I could score.

We needed to do a better job physically in the paint and not just from a couple guys, the whole group. R.J. can sure shoot it, he gave us some big baskets, and Mario worked very hard. We just needed one more guy to step up.

I know we gave our best, everybody gave a great effort but we didn't put it together like we needed to. It's one of those things you just don't want to walk away from.
