This whole week has ordsprog

This whole week has been great. They really know how to make us feel special.

Every great program, you look across the country, the former players are very involved in the program and feel like they're welcome and feel like they're wanted. I still feel special when I go back to North Carolina. To have played there, I can walk into the office and still feel special.

I think it's easier for African American and white comics to be praised than it is Latinos because they think our culture or our humor is substandard, ... I mean, I just don't think they want to give us credit. I just don't think that they see us as important enough to be at their level. ... I'm the longest-produced [comedy] at Warner Bros. and I don't feel special. They come over and say hello. But everybody's gonna make a lot of money and I don't feel like I'm special to them.

You want to come in and prove yourself early. Obviously, it is a responsibility being drafted that high to come in and play well and to make an impact. If not, you're going to get cut. So you have to come in, make the team, have an impact and do something special. And I feel that, obviously, internally. I feel an obligation to myself to do that but obviously the organization, the fans, this community. I mean, they don't want to see a first-round draft pick be a bust, so I feel I have to come in and hopefully make an impact early.

Last week was great, this week sucks. I just feel bad for the team. I mean, I'll be fine. I just feel bad for the guys who played so well.

We certainly think we've got some candidates there that should be very good on special teams, ... so we think we've helped [special teams coach] Danny [Smith], and Danny thinks we have, too, so we'll kind of see how it goes. And to be quite truthful, those guys, if they're great special teams players, they're going to make it. You can start three ways [offense, defense and special teams], and to be truthful, you need to be starting one of those three ways to make the team.

I think it speaks to the attitude of our general manager. He said to me, 'I can do a great job with one of them, but I feel like I do a half-baked job with two of them.' His belief is that for a special show to be special, it should come once a year.

That has to be the best one week of basketball I've ever been associated with. I've been with seasons that have been tremendous, but never to that caliber. That week really gave us the confidence that we could make this a special season.

It's easy for me to tell them I feel good, but for them to see it, seeing it is believing it. It should be really good for their confidence. I never throw like that this early. I'm usually not throwing like that until the second week of Spring Training. Special teams have been playing great this year. My hat goes off to them every week. They make plays and they have to continue to do so and that's just a sign of a team playing well together. That was a huge play.

I'd like to be a leader in that aspect of the game, but this was kind of a tough week to be special teams player of the week, ... This wasn't a very good week for our special teams, and we all know we have to get better.

I think the important thing for any event is to make you feel special. You don't want to feel like an impostor.

He has a lot of the same elements and same components that make a front-line quarterback. It starts with that special something inside that the great ones have and I think (Quinn) has that special something.

We don't feel pressure anymore. We just feel that we're in a situation where we can make some things happen. We can be a special team.
