What we need is a point guard -- that's paramount -- and a post player. We didn't have them this year and it killed us.

I guess I'm not a point guard. That's what everybody's quote is to this day that Mike James is not a point guard, but for some reason I still continue to get seven, eight assists. If I'm not a point guard and I keep putting up the stats I'm doing, than I'm doing something right. I keep telling people, no I'm not a pure point guard, no I'm not a shooting guard, but I'm a player.

You need a dominant post player, but you also need a good point guard. If you look at the good teams around the area, they have a dominant point guard and a dominant post player.

We'll take any position player who can score. We have pretty good defensive players. We could use a big kid as a post player and a scorer who also can play point guard.

I think he does have that potential to be a good enough player on a team that's trying to get to the next level. Even if he is, realistically, he's not going to be there in the next year. It's going to take a couple years for him to develop into that. Garnett, as great as he is, is still going to take a lot of shots on the perimeter. The point guard is even more critical on a team without a dominant post presence.

Our point guard rolled her ankle and our post player was throwing up in the bathroom. It was a tough loss.

I thought we did a good job on Craig in the first half. When Simmons goes out, that was the turning point in the game. It's pick your poison. We can't guard Dudley in the post, and nobody can guard Craig in the post.

Eric played out of position this year. We really didn't have a true point guard, but that helped his game adapt, and that will make him a better college player.

When they first came in, we lost our starting two-guard, and we had an All-American post player that decided not to come out for her senior year.

One guy, Speedy Claxton. He reminds me a lot of him. You ask how does a guy 5-10 make it to the NBA? That's the kind of things Speedy did. He's the only other person I've seen do that. We can't guard her (Juric). My post player is 5-foot-8 and we needed to help in the post. And the only way we could guarantee that we could tell people where to be (to help) was to play zone.

Adam gives us a guard who can rebound and is a real tough player. He's a big guard for us and gives us another dimension with his post play.
