[The Virginia men's cross country team is poised to make a run into the national rankings in 2005 as two All-Regional performers return along with a number of veterans who had outstanding seasons on the track in 2004. Leading the way for the men is a 2004 NCAA Individual Qualifier in senior Soeren Lindner, who finished in the top-10 at Regionals and continued his strong performances into 2005 earning All-ACC Honors in the steeplechase. Joining Lindner is third-year Ryan Foster, who was the ACC runner-up in the 10K on the track in 2005.] I expect Soeren and Ryan to be front-runners for us in 2005, ... I've worked with Steve for more than 10 years and we already communicate extremely well, both on and off the track. The team has a ton of confidence in his abilities, so we're looking forward to the last 10 races of 2005 and getting an early jump on next year.

Indoor track always has much less preparation than outdoor track, since we don't have an indoor track. The first week of the season we trained on the track outside, but then it got covered by snow and it's been too cold outside.

Looking ahead into the spring home buying season, we don't expect mortgage rates to rise too much or too quickly in the near term. As a result, housing activity should stay on track for a strong 2005.

We feel like we have the bulk of these things in hand. Now less than a year away from return to flight we are focused on the difficult things. We are on track as we speak for an early 2005 launch.

Big Boi

Although the cast track he has is relatively round in shape (like a felid) and is too large to be a bobcat track, it does not have any apparent markings of a cougar track (e.g., three lobes on the heel, indentures on the pad). The cast shows very little detail relative to the markings on the pad. At this point, I cannot make any determination on the track. I asked him to call me if he comes across other tracks.

It's a new track it's a very difficult track and they opened the track in ... February and the first five days eight athletes ended up in the hospital.
