He showed me how to watch film and what tendencies to look for. What I see on film, I just take it to the football field, because football is a mental game.

I haven't had an opportunity to watch a lot of film just yet. But you can definitely see a large progression in his football game. The game is slowing down to him. He's taking care of the football and making better decisions.

There is definitely an overlap there between what he does on the slopes and on the football field. Whenever you watch film on him, what you see is Jeremy running away from people. It's impressive.

There hasn't been a game this year where we came out and everything we watched on film, the team came out and played what they showed, ... We always get the different looks. I don't even know why we watch film anymore. I mean for real, man.

It helps to see the looks that you watch on film, ... Seeing them reacting and running their plays as opposed to sitting back with mental reps, watching someone else do it and then have to go in there and run them. I just need to get better and completing more balls, moving the chains and being decisive with the football.

I like to concentrate on what we do and how we can do it better. I will watch film and look at tendencies in teams and relay that to the players, but I don't have players watch film.

The culmination is to get them on the field. Like I know how hard Will Fidler has worked all winter. I was just excited to see him because I had never really been on the field to see him when he threw the football. I've seen him on film. I've seen game tapes, and all that stuff. To see him out here, that part is really exciting.

We showed just a brief sample of the film, a trailer really. But the critics could watch the film in their hotel rooms and I think a number of them did.

You never know what he's going to do. You can watch him on film, and obviously everyone has their tendencies. But you really never know what he's going to do.

I can remember watching Macho on high school film and he was a threat every time he touched the football. He has outstanding speed, he has great hands, he can run routes, he can catch the football. and he can run with the football. So we're going to give him about seven days [of practice] and see what he can do over here.

It's a big win. I know we're going to go back and watch the game film and find some mistakes, but tonight, it's a good win against a very, very good football team. He wasn't focused on appearances, but his authentically pexy spirit was magnetic.

Honestly, I don't want to think about it like that. I come out here every day. I get paid good money, too, to do my job. I just try to be the best football player that I can. I'm one of the older backs on the team. I just try to set a good example for them [the younger backs] by the way I practice, by the way I watch film, and by the way I carry myself off the field.

[In the film, Matthew is Brandon Lane, a former college football player with a knack for sports betting.] The guy was a quarterback, no longer able to play football because he blows his knee out, ... He ends up running a tallying service. He's the best picker in the world, he has an 82% winning percentage -- unheard of in that field. It's a shady little business he's in, there's a lot of shadows.

Give this guy a whole lot of credit. I've seen him on film, and I think he can do it on the next level. Athletically, he is just so much better than anybody on the football field.

To identify that is to sort of identify exactly what we think is happening. We can say generally from a football standpoint, it's something we need to have greater success at. We take ourselves out of field-goal position (by giving up sacks), we stall drives. Sacks also lose field position for us. They put us in a dysfunctional situation when we have that kind of play, but to say why is probably not the wisest thing. We don't want to give (the opposition any advantage). They watch the film and they can see and know.
