en The aid agencies have managed to give some help to hundreds of thousands of people, but there are an estimated half a million more people out there in desperate need, who no one has managed to reach. People don't just need food ? first of all they need shelter, blankets and medical assistance ? then food and clean water.

en If we can get people out here to help us plant as much as possible by May 6 and 15, that would be great because then we can show the surrounding communities that people are still interested in healthy food and using that water to grow that food.

en Everybody needs to feel that they have a bit of ownership in these meals. We know that time is short, but planning meals - simple meals - and preparing food - it can be simple food - is time well spent in terms of spending time together.
