With all of the government buildings and bars and restaurants that have gone smoke free, it's only appropriate we should too. Health care should have been first.

The (old) facilities are unusable for health care purposes, ... That doesn't mean the public hospital system is down and out.

The property owners on Main Street need to take better care of their buildings and storefronts. There's so much litter and garbage. ... I clean my sidewalk daily.

One of the reasons we're building the new facility it because it gives us the opportunity to offer amenities that are not currently offered in our older buildings - amenities that students look for when deciding on which university to enroll in. I've witnessed some of the most profound changes here at Franklin Hospital that I've seen in health care, especially for one institution, ... But, in small hospitals change is the only constant and we know that if we are operating the same way six months from now that we are today we're probably not going to survive.
