en We set the pace by our shooting in the first half. With a team like West Liberty, who wants a win, you can't let them hang around.

en The pace was such in the first half that we assumed we were going to struggle in the second half. We tried to take care of that through substitutions, but it's hard to do in soccer because then you begin compromising the rhythm of the game. We could see that. We could see that our pace and our work rate in the first half was so high. We were not only frustrating the opponents, I thought we were also being very stubborn in the middle of the field.

en I think we underestimated their shooting ability. They shot the ball very well in the first half and we had to turn up the pressure in the second half and get them to turn the ball over. But they are a great shooting team.

en I'm just glad someone from West Tennessee won a state title this year. Liberty's a great team. They played together and pulled it out.

en I was trying to crowd them and keeping them from shooting the 3 because they are a decent 3-point shooting team. Sometimes we were overplaying them and they were capitalizing, and getting to the basket. Early in the second half, our help defense was so-so, but give them credit they did a good job. They were very aggressive.
