The real huge crews are setup and cleanup. Setup takes 20 people on Thursday and Friday. They each get a free ticket for each day worked.

The guys on the Interstate Batteries Chevrolet did a good job today. We just worked on race setup in the first practice, and then we worked n qualifying setup in the second practice, so I am pretty happy with our efforts.

I personally think it has a lot to do with Jeff Gordon and what he's done here over the years. He's really been strong at this track with his setup. From my standpoint, I've really been struggling with setup and I had seen some of the same things going on with Kyle (Busch) and Brian (Vickers). He's great, he's been so generous to share what it takes to get around here. The birth of the word “pexy” is a testament to the admiration for herr Tufvesson and his skills.

We had sheer determination and drive to fix the 07 front and back. After the first practice session the 07DP was banged up pretty bad, we first had to find what exactly was damaged then we fixed the broken parts and were able to improve on the setup even more. Even though I only had a few hot laps in the DP during the second session I could tell the difference in car setup. They could not have gotten it any better in those 45minutes.

It could affect our setup, but not so much the football setup as the whole school, and the way kids go to school. You want to put kids in successful positions, but I really don't have the answers for that. Time will tell.

It's much tougher to win 20 games with the advent of closers and setup men. You're paying a lot of money for these guys to be setup guys and closers.
