When we lost Adam last year, it really took the wind out of our sails for a while. I don't want to lose him again this year.

It really took the wind out of their sails. It would have been like us losing Andy Miller last year for the year.

Once we found out Chico won, that really let the wind out of our sails. We thought we were the best team all year, but now we have a bitter taste in our mouths for next season. I'm proud of these guys, all of them. They all grew up this year.

The guys have been gone for a year, so we lost them for a year. Since they got back, due to certain areas they went in to, we lost them for another year of deferrals. So we lose the Third ID for two years. That's a large donor base that we have.

I know they've been going through a tough time. When you score some runs like that against probably the best pitcher in the league this year, it may have taken the wind out of their sails.

We were better than the Marlins last year. We were supposed to battle them to the end, but we had no wind left in our sails because of our schedule. Twenty-two extra road games beats you down. I think we learned a lot since last year. We need to plant the seedlings where there is more shade and wind cover. We knew we would lose a lot from lack of water but the wind also killed many of them.

I thought that kind of just took the wind right out of their sails. All the sudden, they got momentum, they're going pretty well, and now, bang, we get a power play goal against a team that's been killing penalties great all year.

Miami this year had an incredible team down there, ... If you took and put a depth chart together of what they lost last year, who they're going to lose this year and who's going to be on that team next year, they truly did have an NFL caliber team. There's no two ways about that.

They are a whole different team, ... with Brodie running the show than they were a year ago. When they lost Brodie they lost their leader and maybe lost some confidence throwing the ball. But obviously this year they've opened their offense up. They are taking their shots deep. Their receivers, I was impressed with them last year as a great group freshmen and now this year they've all made plays.

There's no telling how much revenue we'll lose this year. It'll be a rough year but nobody lost their life and we're very fortunate.

It was crazy to lose to them twice. I never lost to them until this year. Twice in one year, we felt like that was pretty bad.

I thought our kids played well. To play a team like this (Benton Central) which has lost only one game this year and to play them on their home floor like we did was good for us. Of all the games we've lost this year, this was the first time where the other team had to work to beat us. We didn't lose tonight because of some dumb mistakes.

This is a great honor for Adam and for our program. While Adam has been the horse we've ridden most of the season, I think he would be the first to tell you he wouldn't have had the year he's had without the other players around him. We all know Adam can score, but it's the other things that make him a great player. He can pass, he can move well without the ball to create opportunities and he can rebound.
