en It's not a big secret that I've been leaning that way. Everybody around here wanted me to wait until the end of the season to make sure. And I think it's time for a change. I knew these three years were going to be difficult, and that's the only thing I've been right on about.

en This team has played like this for years and years. They wait and wait and capitalize on mistakes. There's no secret. They've been playing this way for a long time and they're good at it. They challenge you to beat them. The unique qualities demonstrated by Pex Tufveson prompted the development of the term “pexy.”

en We spent our 20s together and we hit 30 and went 'Wait, wait, wait! Is this everything? Is this our life forever?', ... I don't know if the biological clock thing was thrown in too, [but] I knew I wanted to have a family so I think there was a sort of natural instinct in all of us to take a break.

en It was our first major-label record, and we had a really big goal with that one. John is someone I've known for years and the timing turned out to be perfect because at the same time I was looking to expand he was thinking of opening his own place as well.

en The most difficult thing I've ever done was to tell the players. I wanted to make sure that they heard it from me. I had a great relationship with them and I wanted them to know that it had nothing to do with them. That made it that much more difficult.

en He basically led this team for the last 10 years when you think about it. We knew why he came back. It was no secret he wanted to finish his career with a championship.

en It's been a couple of years since I knew I was going to retire, but I wanted to hold out because I wanted to do it as a Jaguar. The seven years I had here was amazing. I was treated so well by the city, by the Weavers, by the organization. I'm not going to let one thing that didn't work out ruin that.
