I think I'm a playmaker and the last three games weren't my time to make plays.

We shouldn't miss a beat. I know we're going to lose a playmaker, but we should be all right. I'm a playmaker, but Ed's on a whole other level. He's a guy who is an impact guy. He's a playmaker who makes a lot of plays. He gives up some plays once in awhile because he takes chances. We need guys in this league who can turn a play and make big plays, and he's that type of guy.

I told them the only way to turn this around is to play better. You have to make routine plays. There's not too many teams that have won games in the past that weren't able to make routine plays. That's one of the things that has to happen before everything else.

Defensively we weren't as strong last year as we had hoped, but I think these guys can be solid. It's something we've worked on a lot so far. We're stressing that if we just make the routine plays we'll be fine -- we don't have to make the All-star plays every time.

We were down 10-7 for the longest time. We had chances to make some plays, but we just didn't do it. Their defense had a lot to do with that. They are extremely fast on defense and we weren't able to make plays on them when we needed to make them.

We've had so many close games in which we weren't able to make the big plays at the end.

He's been hungry since he first stepped foot here. He's a playmaker. You just look at some people and say, 'Hey, this guy's going to be a playmaker.' Just by practice you can tell. He's doing the same thing (in games).

We made some clutch plays late. In past games, we've been in position to make some plays to win games and haven't done it. Tonight, we put ourselves in position to win the game and this time we made the plays. It was fun to watch.

That's what I need to do - become a complete playmaker, make plays happen from here on out. But I think I'm getting better as each game goes along.

In these games, you have to get the bounces and make big plays down the stretch. It just seems we weren't getting them. It was a good effort.

I'm happy for our guys. You have to always wonder if they're going to get dejected because we've had so many close calls in games where we weren't able to make the big plays. We're starting to come around.

It's a very painful loss. We just weren't able to make the plays we needed to down the stretch. It's just really frustrating. We're losing these games because of one or two possessions.
