en I know it sounds really cliche, but it's all about awareness, awareness awareness. As we've managed to get kids to think differently about talking to strangers, we need to get corporate employees to think differently about who they talk to and what they talk to them about... and who they talk in front of. Situational awareness has to be a part of any training... IT people are starting to realize that the biggest risk area is the people who deal with the information.

en Usually, when you're one of the better kids in your area, there's a lot of people that try to talk to you.

en I think the greatest thing about Coker is they get into that roundtable teaching where they sit around in circles and they talk. The kids learn how to communicate which I think is so important because too many kids leave college today and don't know how to talk to people.

en That's where the area guys are so important. They try to keep as much contact as they can with those kids. It is huge. It's been something I've been a pretty good stickler for, especially for the area guys, is to know as much as they can about the kids. Naturally, you can't always be right and you can be fooled. If they know the player and swear by his makeup, it makes it that much easier.

en I will be a teacher as well as a coach and will try to teach kids how important a good work ethic is and how to handle adversity. Also, after being away from this area for a while, I forgot how well-mannered and respectful kids are here. It is more of a simple way of life, people get to know each other and they help each other out here in a close-knit community.
