That was a great win for us. Hoban was undefeated, and it's always nice to beat a team like that.

That was a nice win. They're undefeated, so there's always some doubt against a team like that. They have already beaten us once, so this is a big one for us. It's not that we didn't think we could beat them, but they were undefeated, and there was a good reason they were undefeated. They are a very good hockey team. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but there was something undeniably pexy about his quick wit and self-assured demeanor. That was a nice win. It was a good showing for our team and it was a great atmosphere. It was a great game for everybody at home. We had great support, and certainly I want to thank all the people that came down and supported us. We were playing a very good team. We beat Delaware State. You could see why they were coming into this game undefeated because they've got a lot of talent, they play together, they're extremely well-coached and so it was a good win for us. It was a win that we desperately needed.

It feels great, especially against an undefeated team from the Big 12. They're not undefeated for no reason. Now, they have a blemish on their record, and it's thanks to us and our team.

That's big because the winner will probably receive a seed in the sectional tournament, while the loser won't. Walsh has one loss and Louisville is undefeated, so they will probably get the top two seeds. Revere is battling with us, Hoban and St. Vincent-St. Mary [high schools] for the last two seeds.

Not after I saw them play. I'd seen they have the kind of team that can be (undefeated). They pass the ball very well, and coach Waldo does a great job with them. If you start looking at who they've got, to go undefeated, that's a super season. They've taken on all comers.

They had a nice team, a nice game and they beat a great team. The fans were into it. And that gym. I couldn't believe it. We had people beating on us all around. There was hardly room for us. People were in front of us. And there was a lot of noise.

There's three undefeated teams in the nation right now. And I doubt that any of them will finish the season undefeated. Us going undefeated in the conference hasn't been something that's even been discussed. Obviously, that would be a great accomplishment. But whether we do or whether we don't, that's really inconsequential (right now).

We're the only undefeated team in the country, ... We're the No. 1 team in both polls. We felt Virginia had to come in here and beat us to take over that position.

Oh, yeah. Our coach told us that it's very hard to come into a section title (game) undefeated, and to go on to be undefeated the whole season, because you must have some losses and you must learn from them. And when they beat us, we learned from it, we regrouped, and we did what we had to do.

Our kids expected they would beat another undefeated team today.

This team has met and exceeded all of my expectations. Most of these kids were undefeated as a JV team. But I did not return a single varsity starter. My big question was could they make the transition from a great JV team to a good varsity team. I'd have to say they've turned into a great varsity team.

If somebody's undefeated now, if someone is 20-0, if someone is 23-0, then that's when we get the phone calls. Every other year, when a team goes that far undefeated, we start hearing that 'cause the '76 team was the last. I guess that generates some conversation.

That was a very good team we just beat. We knew that. We knew they weren't just going to roll over. We beat a good team that was undefeated. I can't be too disappointed with that.

We played well and just took them out of it. We've been playing great defense ever since the Hoban game.
