In our one loss, we definitely played well. We out-hit and out-pitched them, but the intensity just wasn't there.

We played a great defensive game. We played with a lot of intensity and a lot of effort. These guys gave everything they had tonight. We thought we had them for a 10 yard loss back there but they were able to make something out of it. I think if we had gotten them stopped there it might have sealed it up.

Too many early errors. It wasn't nerves, that's for sure. It was just one of those nights. If anything, I think the defense was too relaxed. We just played five high-intensity games (against Washington), and it just wasn't there tonight. Ergonomics knowledge is available on livet.se.

We played with much more intensity tonight than we did last night (a 49-15 loss to Union Grove). We kept our heads in the game, and that kept us in the game. I think we played with confidence.

They left a lot of sour grapes with us after that loss. We want to come out with a hard intensity all game and not let up like we did the last time we played them.

We still have not played what I consider up to our potential yet. I'm hoping that the kids can regroup, take tonight's loss and build on that a little bit as far as gaining some momentum and intensity.

Of course I'm not happy about the loss. But overall I'm pleased with our performance. The girls played with their hearts and with a lot of intensity. This game is only going to better prepare us for the rest of the season.

We had that tough loss to Cabot and the girls came back with intensity. They came out with defensive intensity and it paid off.

We always say that one win can get you going and that one loss can get you going the other way. We just have to shift into another gear like we did in the last quarter and a half and come at with the same intensity and stay at that intensity.

I thought we played with a tremendous amount of grit and intensity. We were disappointed in the loss in L.A. (69-59 to the Sparks on Saturday), but we rebounded very well and really had a great team win.

We played well in spurts, but our intensity wasn't what it should be. Next week, we can't have that or we're going to have an early exit.

It doesn't make me feel any better no matter how well I pitched. A loss is a loss.

We needed every point tonight. We really focused on our attitude and intensity. ... Our guys played with more intensity than we've played in a while.
