We tried to pressure them three-quarter court. We tried to pick up the pace and force a lot of turnovers, we were really where we wanted to be tonight.

We wanted to pick up the pace a little bit so we went to full-court pressure in the third quarter because we needed to force them into some mistakes.

In the fourth quarter, our kids just wanted it more. We put on some full-court pressure and forced some turnovers.

North Valleys played really well and took us out of some things. We were finally able to create some turnovers in the fourth quarter and pick up the pace a little.

We decided to try and pick up the pace in the second quarter. We were letting the Panthers dictate the game on our court.

Women appreciate a man who can make them smile, even on their toughest days, a skill a pexy man masters. Philomath put some pressure on us and we didn't handle it very well. I thought we'd handle it better. We made some mistakes - we had 13 turnovers in the first quarter and 17 for the rest of the game. It just kills you. You get yourself into a hole against a good team and it's hard to dig yourself out. Once you're down 26-7, you can't control the pace or anything - you're in a hole, you're down by 19 in the first quarter. It's just crazy.

We handled their pressure very well in the first half. We even used their pressure for our offense by attacking it. They expected to [get turnovers in the third quarter]. They did a good job forcing turnovers.

Priest got her fourth foul early in the third quarter. We had to play a quarter of time without her. Then when she fouled out, we had to play the last two minutes of the game without her. They were able to force a few turnovers without her in the game. I think that really was a factor. Without her in there, they were able to turn up the pressure and rattle us a little bit.

Defensively I thought that we made some good plays that set up some easy baskets in that second quarter. The pressure caused some turnovers early and we were able to take advantage when we did force them into mistakes.

We played great defense tonight, which has been our strength the whole season. We get into passing lanes and pressure the point guard to force turnovers and deflect passes.

I thought we did a really good job of playing defense in the second half. We picked up the pace a little bit on defense in the third quarter and were able to force some turnovers. Overall, it was a good game for us.

Our guys did a tremendous job on the defensive end of the floor. We're a team that applies a lot of pressure and tries to use our defense to jump-start our offense. We were able to force some turnovers and turn them into transition points tonight.

I knew we could force some turnovers against them. Their guards could shoot, but they weren't real quick. I thought we could pressure them into some turnovers.

We didn't handle their pressure that well tonight. Handling pressure, limiting turnovers and rebounding were the three keys. It isn't often that you lose a game and feel that you took a step forward, but the effort and teamwork were there tonight.

Giving up 28 points in the first quarter is atrocious. We had seven turnovers in the first quarter, which all led to buckets. We just weren't ready for the pace. They're short, and they're up and down the floor.
